An explanation of the different types of front Californiani bumpers and profiles in terms of the leanng and the straight up and down.
This is the last of the bumpers made which are very close to the body and headlight where the top loop is more vertical than the rest of the bar. The pictured sample is on the last Moke to come off the production line in Australia.
A little earlier in the 1980's, the year to be confirmed, is this style where it leans away a bit more. Note the top loop is leaning at much the same angle as the main loops on this style of bar.
